Automated testing is definitely the future of software testing and is inevitable. It’s improving day-by-day and is already an essential part of any software testing effort. However, it might not eradicate manual testing completely. Both implemented with the right balance is sure to produce awesome results.

Very nice talk. I'm still curious though as to the title of this video, I think it should be expanded in more details in this conversation. Like, how do you think a software tester is going to be like in 10 years, as to his responsibilities and is manual going to be eradicated completely or mixed with automation testing jobs. Are testers going to become simply developers specialised in testing? These are interesting questions.
