Great tutorial. Polygel is much easier to file than acrylic so the removal process doesn't take too long.

great job! I did polygel for the first time a couple weeks ago. Just left it on for a week though since we went camping. Anyway, I have NO experience with an e-file but got one and used it in the removal process, but just a little bit. I'm just not confident enough (yet) and my natural nails are thing anyway. I continued with the file 120/80 file for some time, but not until it was all gone. Knowing myself, and being new to all this, I would have totally ruined my actual nail. So after I was done with e-file and manual file, I used the good ol' acetone. Man was it annoying and time-consuming sitting there for like 20 minutes to get the polygel soft enough to remove. I was as careful as I could as a beginner, still lost a thin layer of my natural nail. But I'm not giving up LOL My nails have recovered better than that time I got BioGel on my nails and "professionaly" removed in a salon.

So are you saying acetone doesn't work at all for removing polygel???? I've seen it done using the baggy method like for dip powder removal and it was removed in abouut 10 minutes. I am a beginner with polygel and just bought my first kit and I have done my research

Polygel looks really cool but the only way to remove is by filing and I don't know how i feel about that.. its time consuming. I'm just trying to find the perfect technique to do my nails at home.
