Debian 12 Bookworm is a goldilocks release for sure, I'm gonna be spending a whole summer in it to get back into my roots. Maybe redo my install by the end of the summer and have a different DE/WM!

It's nice to see your smiling face again. I was in your neck of the woods for almost 3 weeks. It was nice to see everything green, and it was nice to see some good thunderstorms. I haven't had the pleasure of having either of those in a few years. It was also nice to see a strong economy back in Bama too. But you had to have a firecracker stand to have it. That was all I heard for the week before the fourth.

I agree with Xfce and I witness as W7 user perspective. Default Debian Xfce I feel like ReactOS because tango-icon-theme with white panel. But if make aero glass image & set with panel and manage whiskermenu there I have it W7 look and feel that wanted. I don't have to go Mint or other bottom panel distro for bottom panel it's ridiculous I can just do it myself on Debian Xfce. KDE may bottom panel by default but Xfce just little customizing. So it's Xfce DE that make me familiar with Linux real quick. KDE the file manager crash too often that's why I go Xfce since then.
