With CAN’T LOVE, Ray Lozano delivers a hauntingly honest anthem for anyone grappling with the fear of commitment. The song delves into the emotional push and pull of relationships, exploring the tension between longing for connection and the instinct to protect oneself from heartbreak. Blending raw vulnerability with an infectious sound, CAN’T LOVE resonates deeply with those navigating love’s uncertainties. “It’s about wanting to let someone in but feeling like you just can’t,” Ray explains. “That fear can be paralyzing, and with this song I try to capture that struggle. That exact moment where love feels both essential and impossible.”

With her 2023 debut album ‘Pairing Mode’ (LP & Digital), co-produced with Samon Kawamura, the singer and producer from Cologne made a lasting mark on German-Asian (pop) culture. The album amassed over 56 million streams and garnered praise from tastemakers like Jamz Supernova, 1live, WDR Cosmo, and Spiegel Online. Her artistry has been recognized with the prestigious Holger Czukay Award and a NICA artist residency, all while captivating audiences across Germany.
