Thanks for making these tutorials, every issue I've had with arch you've solved, and it's almost all up to date. That's some dedication i admire.

Thank you Ermanno. The quality of your content is excellent, as usual. Way more than you could guess by the 18.7 k followers you have today. I'm sure more and more will come to your channel soon.

Very useful and detailed presented. Great job!
I have no idea how to send suggestions. So, I will write here.
Most linux users are programmers/web developers. Most of them already know how to deal with linuxes. But for beginners would be very useful to have videos about installing and configuring things related for development.e.g. mariadb on Arch linux with btrfs need a bit different things to do than mariadb on ext4. This was just an suggestion for some of future videos.
Related to channel, this is most detailed and useful channel I found in youtube.

Thank you! I have steam and it's working fine but there were many useful tips for me in this video.

I'm not sure if you did it already (couldn't find a video) but is it possible that you will cover an arch laptop installation? As far as I know it's not so different from regular pc but there are ACPI things that should be installed, probably many power related packages and settings.

Anyway. Thank you for your work.
This is the best arch linux channel on YouTube!

Hi Ermanno, great video as always. Since you have made several tutorials for different desktop environments on arch, could you please do a tutorial on how to install the pantheon DE on arch?

Thanks for this, Ermanno! I tried installing it a couple of days ago but I broke Arch and had to reinstall. This will help a lot!

😂 the last one I'd ever think would do anything about a game. As far as I get also with games is tuxracer or chess 😂. But yes steam makes windblowns sad. Especially if you're running a ryzen. My two best friends love games. And yes multilib is very important because we need lib32 and a bunch of 32 bit things to be compatible to windows because most games are based on Microsoft, which are 32 bit. Loved the video.

Honestly, I think that Valve misses the boat on only supporting Ubuntu. Ubuntu still is a major player but more and more people prefer to use Arch so I don't understand why Valve refuses to support that. They don't have to support every distro but just support Ubuntu and Arch and almost every gamer on Linux is happy. I am sure that the Arch-maintainers would be happy to help Valve with supporting Steam officially on Arch, do all the heavy lifting. If Valve just would be humble and contact them. At the moment the latest release of Ubuntu does not use old software but 2 years ago it was a trainwreck if you had a 5700 XT. Rolling also gives you the latest drivers all the time and the latest kernel out of the box (without having to compile it). Those are BIG advantages to gamers. On Windows we want the latest drivers in most cases, the same on Linux. But some Linux-users pretend as if that doesn't matter.

Is there any way to change the font size of Steam ? I'm currently using i3wm and words are too small in Steam.

I've got an issue with proton not detecting a uplay installation and my game fails to launch. Any idea on how to solve this?

The latest Proton release gives support for MechWarrior Online. I have it downloading now. I am very optimistic.
