So sorry to hear of the passing of my teammate and friend, Sal Bando. My heart goes out to the Sandy and the family. God bless and keep you all. A complete and utter champion on and off the field. He was our leader and glue on those teams, without question. Thanks, Sal, great playing with you. Billy North

He was definitely very solid for many years. Things that stuck out to me were his 1000 plus rbi & his very low strikeout rate. I dont have an auto of #bando Thanks for opportunity!

I collect the 1971-75 Oakland A's, and Sal was always one of my favorites. Very sad to hear of his passing. #Bando

Great tribute to a really solid ball player. You hit the nail on the head when you said he did everything well, he was a leader and the type of player teams win Championships with.

Really nice tribute to Bando. Seemed like he hardly took days off and really had a knack for getting on base. A real asset to any winning club. Appreciate you posting this Eddy!

I did not hear of his passing. Yes he was the Captain and helped stabilize those crazy “Swinging A’s” teams. #bando

Hey Eddy, I didn’t know he passed so I appreciate you doing this video. Bando was a very good player. I agree with you on the 73 Topps card being a nice photo. He had a lot of nice cards. His 71 in those garish yellow and green uniforms is one of my favorites. The colors in the 75 is nice too. My favorite other than the 73 of the ones you showed is the Upper Deck Legends card. That is the uniform I remember. I enjoyed seeing your Bando collection. Enjoy your Sunday.

I reallly did not know a lot about Mr. Bando’s career. Thanks for sharing all the knowledge. Really nice autos. Always nice to be able to relax even though it’s hard to make time to do so sometimes #Bando

Growing up in San Diego, I was a huge A's fan. Loved Sal Bando, disagree with your assessment of him being a good, ball player, to me he was a great ball player. The 72 thur 74 word series games he played his defense was awesome. He was one of my all time favorite Oakland A's player, rest in peace Sal Bando!! #Bando

I’ve always been surprised Sal doesn’t get any hobby love.
