Man, when these ARPG's are done right they're just so addictive. This looks like it's gonna eat up a lot of my time!

I like that Titan Quest 2 has kept the dynamics of the game as in the first part. It is a slow game without a huge number of bright effects on the screen.

Something interesting I saw someone else suggesting: In Ancient Greece the main currency was drachmas, made out of silver. Instead of the ubiquitous gold, as in all other games, use silver! Name it either silver or drachma. That's a very small change but very unique and I guess it would be pointed out in every review of the game. It's almost like an easter egg, but not hidden lol

@Devs
11:24: It seems the Ichthian that used a two handed halberd drops an ice staff and a shield? That makes zero sense!
In the original game (more than 18 YEARS OLD) enemies drop the weapons and armor you see them use. They physically fall to the ground. No matter if it's your first time playing or the 100th run: Noticing a certain item on an opponent and receiving it as he is slain feels very rewarding.

Generally I like what you are doing. The landscapes are beautiful, the atmosphere is right.

This passes the Titan Quest vibe check 100%

TY!!! It's nice to have a gameplay without any commentary to appreciate the sound effects! Footage shows it all the game is shaping well and the original vibe stills there!

In options I want to see...

* Remove damage numbers
* Remove red outline of enemies
* Remove red outline of player(s)
* Remove health bars on enemies
* Remove health bar on bosses
* Remove flash on hit of enemies

I might not necessarily turn off all but I will with most of them especially numbers and health bars to get as realistic feel as possible.

So far, the game looks pretty raw. The interface isn't complete, the leveling up process wasn't shown at all. I guess they are only in the beginning of the development and that's all they have to show.

one thing that really got me hooked in TQ1 was the animations, you need to polish some movements and attacks to be more meaningful

Bring Egyptian, Babylonian, Chinese, Nordic, Atlantean and Indian cultures from DLC's, 🥲🥲🥲

that jumping attack feels so unimpacting -- enemies aren't moved or even react to it at all. I hope they improve details like that still.

If the devs can actually put up a more visually understandable and distinct icons for skills instead of the likes of D4 it would be more awesome. There are some players like me who cant distinguish between these color palettes or symbols that much easily. The icons from Titan Quest (1) actually looked so much memorable.

I would change the interface, and the skill icons, they look very D4.
Also some animations look strange. And it would change the color of the item rarity like in TQ1

Looks promising, though I wish they showed more than just some low level gameplay spamming the same 3 Skills for 30 minutes...This was a pretty bad showcase that will give people the wrong impressions.

Kind of surprised to see loading screens when entering caves now. It wasn't a thing in TQ1, where you could traverse almost entire maps without loading screens. I guess its the technical limitations of UE5?

They've changed the color coding for items, now it's like in Diablo 2? Why? Also enemies no longer drop what they cary? Spear wielders drop swords, animals drop weapons even though they don't wield them... because they're animals. That's a sure way to take out the uniqueness of Titan Quest.

9:23 Why it took 30 seconds for spiders to kill him? There is any challenge in that game when you are so hard to kill

Finally a game without seasons, I am so done with seasons in games. Can't wait for Titan Quest 2

Boars dropping staffs and monsters not dropping whatever they are wearing, well this is nothing like Titan Quest. AND skeletons with a same death animation, are you serious?

So they butchered the original item system in favor more simple Diablo 4 like system. The original Titan Quest and Grim Dawn systems are way ahead of this. Can't really see how this would compete with other titles in the market
