it's good that you play teams from your own pot as well. Celtic will get to play teams of a similar level, and more variety (e.g. other champions of smaller leagues)

Top job. I like the idea of one big league. You won't have the situation where one team qualifies ahead of another when they have less points but are in a different group, such as happened with us and Rangers last year.

Well explained! I was struggling to understand the new structure before this.

More games = more money n possibly better chance of attracting better players

I don't know how I feel about not having a Europa League parachute, it always feels like you still have that extra chance 🤔. Although it does sound better for individual teams etc. Just have to wait and see how it goes though. Great video Hamish 👌🏼

I'm not seeing any negatives for this format (yet). Happy for anyone to point them out specifically, instead of usual poor me hyperbole.

probably a positive for Celtic as you at least play 2 teams of similar standard and a chance to gradually improve the coefficient

There's a job for you at SFA PR Dept. Excellent presentation.

Also if we had eight games we would have 4 left instead of 2 and a greater possibility of turning our European season around

I never agreed that a country has more than 2 teams in the champions league as it is unfair for the other leagues trying to make progress it just makes rich teams richer and teams like celtic with no hope of getting bigger

A wee bit confused...If Scotland drop out of top 12 clubs can Celtic still qualify with their individual coefficient?. Also the answer to that answers my next question...Is that the end of playing qualifying rounds to get into group stages?.

thanks, i like it. only one question. if we stay in the top ten is that a penalty to rangers ?

Financially set up for the big clubs now if the medium clubs had a chance to make more money by dropping into europa league still adds upto more money

If there's no drop down to europa league then potentially less money

This is the prelude to the European Super League

Can't think about any of this just want a win in the Champions League this season to give us something positive to take away from this obviously this means beating Shaktar next week. Not going to be easy because I believe they're better than they appeared in the first game. Even Madrid's 'B' team will be good enough to beat us. The big takeaway from it this season is the need to be clinical in front of goal when you get your chances while defending from the front as a team to limit the chances we give up. If we can win the league again this year we should be better prepared for next year's competition

CL is all good and well for the finance. Football wise we are a Europa league team. We'll have a better chance of progressing into later stages 😀

An emphasis of individual club coefficient will see 10 epl clubs in the champions league eventually 😅

Hate the CL groups stages. Why can't we go back to 2 legged matches with no seedings
