I'm so excited! Hands with eyes are SUPER CREEPY!!! And on this subject, this episode has everything and everyone in it! Hands with eyes, a guy with lines on his face, all the Daleks, Missy, HOW WILL THIS ALL FIT TOGETHER?!?!?!?

Michelle Gomez as Missy is one of the things I'm looking forward to most in this series. She's just SO good. And the fact that we're returning to Skaro very much like it appeared way back in 1963 is incredibly exciting. I mean, look at the architecture and the shape of the doors! It's exactly the same! The original Dalek story is still one of my favourite episodes of DW, as is Genesis of the Daleks, so naturally I can't wait to see how all these elements are tied together in the new series. Bring on September 19th!

Aw yeah. I'm excited. While I loved Capaldi's Doctor, I thought his first season as a whole to be...bumpy. It was pretty hit and miss. Part of the problem was, I think, that some episodes (like the moon episode) were written with Matt Smith in mind, not Peter Capaldi. Plus, he was such a vastly different Doctor from Smith, Tennant, and even Eccelston.

But I'm still excited because I feel this will be the season where the creative team finds their footing with this new kind of Doctor. It was a bumpy start, but I think we're in for some good stuff this time around.
