“My opponent doesn’t appreciate being an all you can eat buffet” 🤣

These should be 2 hours long 😢

The ambulance siren was way too well timed!!

One thing I've noticed through this speedrun that I don't know if you've mentioned is how many of these opponents use so much less time than you. Particularly the second opponent here blitzed out like 20 moves with over 8.5 minutes on the clock.

I used to be really into chess, but I stopped playing for a while due to life commitments. When I tried to get back into it recently, I felt a bit out of practice. I explored various learning platforms to help me get back on track, but it was your series that truly reignited my passion for the game. Your detailed explanations and thoughtful approach have been incredibly helpful. Thank you so much for reigniting my interest in chess.

The sound of the siren timed before the checkmate made me giggle too hard it nearly woke somebody up 😂

The more I've watched this series, the more it's made me realize how often I lose awareness of significant components, such as missing significant tactical signals and tendency to go for overly-aggressive moves that actually weaken my pieces ability to work together. I'm inspired to work on my Italian, and King's Pawn opening, to look for natural opportunities to punish weak counter-play in low-rated lobbies as you have shown. Those minor pieces sure can contribute a lot to the battle, when orchestrated well together! :)

P.S. I'm kind of glad that several of your 700 lobbies, were not near as obvious how to win. It seems there really is much awareness we need to have, in order to consistently convert those levels of games into wins.

I lose track of which episodes I've watched from night to night after working a full day and eating and taking some chill Chess lesson time. I could watch the same lesson from you 5 times in a row and not quite figure it out. Every chess video I watch I learn something, sometimes the same lessons in a row, but I love it. I no longer need to be good, I just need to be improving every day... even if some days I slide back in exchange for some hard days.

This is reaching the point where it is super practical knowledge for me at my level. I have genuinely employed ideas you have explained in games.

I really respect the way you play in the speed run, you are actually coaching your opponent how to improve their play. Bravo. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for doing this series with a 10min time control. It really gives the space to comment on the ideas and thoughts for positions. Amazing work!!
