For the folding pin, its a pull and twist to hold in place. so it wont fall on your head if you hold the stem.

WARNING: gotrax has an F rating on the Texas BBB. They are a US warehouse for fully Chinese made and assembled scooters. They don't do any of their own repairs or assembly. They sell new buyers scooters before sending out customers waiting on returns/service. I purchased two may 1. This was the experience.

It got 18 miles at full speed, on the flat and some hills and lots of stop and go, with a 160 lbs guy? Often scooters don't achieve full range at top speed. Wow.

I have a gotrax scooter and I was going max speed and I slid and got a lot of bad road rags and it hurts so bad it’s the X-r elite road rash I mean

Do not buy gotrax. If you have any problem, they take no responsibility for their failures. Mine was brand new and had an error code. They would not ship parts, but wanted the entire scooter returned and implied if they could fix it it would be at a minimal charge. They would not send packaging and said any damage in shipping was my responsibility. Terrible customer service.

Dont buy it, its a piece of crap, i bought it after 2 months it just died dealing with CS is a nightmare. it is alot of fun for 2 months and then it will just die. read the reviews online they all break. the good reviews are people writing them in the first few weeks Again stay away spend the money on a quality one and oh yea it doesnt have an LG battery like they claim

DO NOT ORDER FROM GOTRAX! I ordered an "Elite", got a lemon, their support is non-existent. Try calling - the phone is dead. Try emailing, they have a bot emailing guides for the wrong scooter back at you non-stop. At best, it's a gamble - you may or may not get a working scooter, if you get a dud, you are stuck as there's no one home.
