Physics of Rainbows

Physics Ninja looks at the Physics of Rainbows. I calculate the maximum angle of deviation for light entering a water droplet at an arbitrary angle. Snell's Law and some geometrical relationships are used to find the maximum angle of deviation. The results are used to explain the color sequence of the main bow of a rainbow.

Really great . . . but what about the reason behind the arc shape of the rainbow, and how the size of the arc is determined ? . . . . I'm interested to know where is the end of the rainbow (just kidding)
Also as Koko asked what is the software you are using for drawing please ?
