CRREM – the Carbon Risk Real Estate Monitor has developed a tool to measure and optimize operational carbon emission in the use phase of buildings. In order to align emissions to the requirements of the Paris accord also scientific decarbonization pathways have been derived. The EU funded project evolved over time and is the leading global benchmark for energy and carbon intensities supported by leading investors and industry bodies like IIGCC, NZAOA, GRESB and many more.
