About Each Practice
EFT tapping is A combination of Meridian Acupressure and Talk Therapy
Tapping on Acupressure points calms the amygdala, a part of the brain that controls our fight or flight response. Talking through stresses, limiting beliefs, fears, etc., with our nervous system relaxed, allows it to associate those thoughts with feeling calm. Every time you tap, you are creating new neural connections. Enabling you to shift, shape, and redirect your thoughts!
Yin is a slow and meditative style of yoga where you hold the poses for longer. The focus is on surrendering to the pose, sitting with all the sensations that arrive, and ultimately experiencing a deep letting go and a sense of calm and working with your energy channels to release stored or trapped emotions, bringing balance and harmony to your body and mind.
Reminder: Emotions are natural. However, some can get stuck in a perpetual loop, causing an increase in that emotion and an imbalance in the mind and body. Be patient and forgiving as you move through the emotions.
