I remember hearing this song for the first time when it came out. I was going through troubles with a breakup, lost a friend, and I was contemplating whether to end it or not. I was in the car with my mom, listening to the radio. "No matter the bumps, no matter the bruises, no matter the scars". When I heard that, I cried like a little. Then I heard the "No matter what they say" line. At that moment, I wept tears of sorrow and joy, for I have been made flawless by Him. Praise the Lord, for He has made you flawless! No matter how much you think no one cares for you, just remember that He cares for you! He has made you flawless, he has made you to be better! Thank the Lord, and may He come once again to bring us all salvation!

When I was young I didn't know my identity. I was lost and hurting from controlling parents and coped through rebellion and seeking the wrong kind of attention from the wrong people and was expelled from high school. Now later in life I know Jesus and my parents know Jesus and so do my children. I now know my identity is hidden in Christ and Im flawless made so by our great and mighty Saviour!

Listening to this with my mom and dad at a rehabilitation center, he fell and had neurosurgery. God's grace is with us because He saved my dad's life and He keeps us going, despite all the trials and tribulations we face. For He knows the plans He has for us, plans not to harm us but to give us hope and a future. Praise You Jehovah, praise the Lord, Who is Mighty to save!!!!

When Satan put me on trial a few years back, I felt so deserving of hell. I was ready to sentence myself. The devil accused me of all my sins against God. All I could say to Jesus was that I was guilty as charged. For three days this went on. It was the most frightening thing I went through.
On the last day. I was driving home from work that night at 12 midnight. crying. All I had for my defence was my faith in His cross. I told Jesus that I had nothing but my faith in Him. I then turned on the radio and changed the station to Moody radio and this song was playing. It was the first time I heard it. And when I did, I knew Jesus had found me not guilty. He paid for my sins and the trial ended. I will never go through that one again.
Satan always accuses us to God. And he always accused God to man. But Jesus is our defender and judge. What better position can we be in than to have our lawyer and judge be the same person.

Thank you Jesus for being at our deffence with your cross and all it offers.

My dad listened to this song throughout the time he had cancer, and through his stem cell transplant. God chose to heal him completely by taking him from this world into heaven. This was his favorite song, we played it during his memorial service. This song makes me cry every time I hear it. I love you dad! I miss you! I can't wait to see you in heaven!

This is one of my favorites from MercyMe! This is a classic! I heard this once on the radio and wondered what it was, so I do some research and then my heart melts in happiness. God changes lives, if it's not him then I don't know who it is, but for what I know God is there with you, lifting you from your struggles and restoring your heart and undoing all sins.
