It's also ridiculous that the show had the Tyrells extinct when there was so many of them. Even the potential replacement for Pycelle when Tyrion jailed him was a Tyrell. Pycelle was restored into his position because "better a Lannister toad than a Tyrell toad."

I know that Loras deleting Joffrey to protect Margaery in the bedroom would definitely create more chaos, but it would not be so easily excused like Jamie dealing with Aegon Targaryen.

I never liked the show's portrayal of Ser Loras - other than his Homosexuality there was very little to him, it was wrong to portray him just like that when we know he's capable of so much more 🏵

The plan would work and maybe even the Tyrell’s may have gone along with it. But Loras would certainly have been executed for killing Joffrey. That makes a lot more sense when Loras is a Third Son and not the heir. 😅

I think the faith of Game of Thrones was written, when they began to exclude characters from the boek. GRRMs world is so detailed, and every little detail important, that you can not create a logical show with deleting elements of his vision. Tyrells, Dorne and Young Griff are the worst examples, I think Young Griff wil play a very important role in Danys plot, because if he really is Aegon VI Targaryen she will no longer be the rightful queen and it will maybe make sense to let her become mad because she still things it's her right to sit on the Iron Throne. It can also be, that she has to prove, that the "mummers dragon" is not a Targaryen but unstead maybe a Blackfyre or somebody else, travelling with a fooled Targaryen loyalist (Jon Connington) and the Golden Company which is the Peak Blackfyre loyalist force you can get. And the story GRRM wanted for Tyrells and Martell is completly impossible to have without Garlan, Willas, Arianne and Quentyn (while he is probably the least important of them because his plot doesn't matter that much). So D&D had to made up new stories without any sense and because some of the original elements are now without any sense the whole linking of the many plotlines must have been a totally mess without any sense.

Unlike the stupid show, the houses aren’t based on their digits… House Tyrell fields one of the most disciplined and formidable armies in the world… they are also very well seasoned from fighting drone..
Flower sigil or no, the stupid quote about “flowers” is stupid… the Tyrell’s have the best army in the entire region.
