You can talk about the performance not being great but at the end of the day, the one thing we lacked over the last 3-4 years under Kenny have been results. It took Kenny a year to win his first comeptive game away from home against Azerbaijan in 2021 and two years to win his first competitive home game against Scotland in 2022. Already it's taken us 5 games to get two competitive wins under Heimir Hallgrimson. The more wins you gain the more confident the players will be

It is just highlights, but judging by them it was a better game than I imagined. Going glass half full here, but we (Ireland) look much improved in attack these days and the poor defence looks like it shouldn't be that difficult to fix. I still hold little expectations going away to England, but at least we are starting to look to some degree competitive.

Finland, obviously a bit unlucky against us in the 2 games, think you have a decent shot at bouncing back to league B right away.
