Arowana Jardini & silver fighting

They lived together about three years, sometimes they fighting. Don't worry, everything will be ok😏.

I had a silver with a few other things and was planning to get a jardini so went around checking videos where people got both and everyone seemed to be bad about them "It won't work" and the likes. I had the room so took the chance. They get along alright so far. Including when feeding.

After placing my jardini and silver together for 8 months, today they have a big fight! The jar is 5 years old and the silver is year and half old, silver have actually beat up the jar and make him sit down at the bottom of tank! I have 8x2x2 and thinking of separating them now...

Is this tank over crowded for such large fish? Also why are arrowanas expensive or why everyone wants them

They can't be able to express, play themselves or move to much due to lack of space. 😑

Silver is 22 inches, jardini is 18 inches.

You keep two Aros together?!!! Never in my wildest dreams would I even put a feeder fish with my Arowana for fear of getting my expensive Aro fish damaged by any other fish! Maybe I'm just paranoid, haha
