It's no surprise that the Rupes 3 inch Mini Polisher was due for an update. The LHR75 mini was a standard in the Rupes Lineup for a versatile small polisher that could do it all. With other manufacturers such as FLEX and Milwaukee moving to complete cordless systems, we knew that Rupes wouldn't be far behind but with their own Italian twist.

The HLR75 is a 3 inch cordless beast of a machine. Extremely well balanced with fantastic torque, smooth operation, and a surprising battery life. In our testing, the new 75 was easy enough to use with one hand and produced less vibration than the previous generation. Overall, we think users are going to love this new machine for paint correction, headlight restoration, body shop polishing, and on-the-go touchup repair.

Down the road, we hope to see Rupes release the corded attachment for the HLR75 as an optional accessory!

That thing looks sweet! And the fact it doesn't lose power is a huge plus. These little polishers will probably sell out world wide within a week or two (at least the initial batch) if they aren't already! Very interesting that the Griot's newly released at SEMA micro-polisher looks very similar in the design shape although it's probably a coincidence.

Somewhat disappointed it doesn't share battery design with the Nano. I'm sure it has more capacity but I'd like to have a singular battery system for all the tools

Can’t wait to receive this. But doesn’t this beta kit come with a iBrid Power Adapter to run the unit continuously on corded power? I sure hope so. I just ordered your last kit thinking it came with the adapter. Please tell me it does. I don’t want to cry myself to sleep tonight.
