What is best settings for printing a storefront window poster? With lot of details?

I currently do this, but the way I do it is i type in the actual size and use the crop tool and proportionally shrink it. Do you have a better idea?

How about increasing the artboard size after it gets finished. (Only works for illustrator though)

What about working with true size but with lower dpi? That’s what I was doing but I’m not that experienced.

Most large format printer, prints in 72-50dpi, so it's ok to upscale a little bit in small-to mid formats, but it's fine for large formats to have 50dpi. We've even print sth with 24dpi and it worked just fine (6x30m mesh on building).

Great tip. When i was a beginner working at a company, i created a photoshoo file 100% which ended up being like 800 mb in file size lol

I did a 6 meter x 2 meter billboard, which i scalled donw to 1/4 of the size but kept it at 300 dpi. So i have to increase to 900dpi?

A file thats 4 times smaller in size but 4 times bigger in resolution is not easier for your computer to handle.

WHY ADD COMPLEX MATH??!!
All large format printers ask for 10% size with high dpi. Just move a decimal point instead of having to divide every measurement
