I think lack of depth to universe mode/MyGM plus the DLC being too spaced out hurt the game. Not to mention it’s A LOT of focus on MyFaction

2K22 REALLYYY benefitted from a 2 year dev cycle. I feel this should be the norm for the WWE games, have them bi annually so they can be properly worked on. During the "off" year with no realise, we can have a second expansion pack, with DLC incorporating whatever changes happen in the WWE world to keep the game fresh.

2k19 still has an edge over 2k24 for me personally, gameplay is much more fun and the roster is leagues above 24s, 2k25 could definitely be the one to dethrone 2k19 for me though.

I think rather than the showcase, 2k should implement a road to wrestlemania and maybe even a road to stand and deliver for nxt. I feel like it would really give the game a longer playtime between dlc especially with how deep they’ve been attempting to make myrise

2k needs to make a Ruthless Aggression Era mode.

A mode I would love to see added is some sort of Classic/Fantasy Match Up mode, where they could add matches for you to play each week that either let you reenact classic matches or play fantasy dream matches. Maybe you could earn MFP or alternate attires for wrestlers (even if they were just colour swaps in some cases). Have it laid out with a nice user interface and set the matches in era appropriate venues etc. Wouldn't need to have loads of custom commentary or showcase style tasks to complete. Just literally use the wrestlers they've already got in the game, and essentially give us a curated list of exhibition matches to play.

The DLC gaps are strange… when they could forgo the “packs” and release a new character every month or 2, for season pass holders - and change the menu presentation to fit that character.
Would let people feel like there’s more regular updates. Then sell the bundle at the end of each “pack”

A quality of life feature I would love them to add, is the ability to create our own categories under the superstar list in Play/Exhibition. We get Male, Female, Champions, Custom & DLC currently I believe? Why can't I just make my own lists and add whoever I want to them? So I could have Golden Era, Attitude, Ruthless Aggression, WWF, WCW, ECW etc.

It's awesome that we get such a massive roster in these games, but I find it incredibly unwieldy when I just want to throw together a match and look through who I want to use.

I would like to see 2k do an NXT Stand-alone game. There will be a decent size roster. The game will allow you to build a character and take that character to NXT. You can then import your character to the regular WWE game for the character to be available in the draft with the whole NXT as well being able to export to the WWE 2k main roster game.

It's the DLC spacing. When you have to wait like 5 months for the DLC you actually want, it makes packs like this feel worse than they are.

A great fix would be to drop MyRise DLC, a joint men's and women's faction DLC or a tag story. It would keep people engaged through the long wait.

2k24 might be my last WWE game for a while I like the game the franchise has become more like Madden and NBA I feel like I've bought the same game for the last 3 years, basically paid for a roster update and a few new match types. 24 is the best of the last 3 for sure but 25 is gonna have to be very different for me to buy it. I'm mainly a universe and gm player and gm only gets slightly better each year and universe has been the same since 2k16.
