Tec Tec Tec Golf Rangefinder Review by Mr. Short Game! ULT-X & VPRO500

This is my review of two golf laser rangefinders by tec tec tec. The ULT-X and the VPRO500 one with slope measurement and the other without. Do they perform well and are they worth the price? I give you my honest opinion of these two rangefinders and put them to the test.

Hi Mr Short Game, just wanted to start by saying that I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos, you always have something interesting to teach. Your energy is infectious, don't ever change mate! One quick thing with the cases on these range finders... the metal clip and bungee cord are intended to be used together instead of bothering with the zip when out on the course, i.e the bungee strap hooks over the metal clip/lug. It is way quicker than mucking around with the zipper. Keep up the good work mate, cheers from Western Australia. 👍

For the amateur golfer.. which is the better buy? Should I splurge on the slope rangefinder?

Had the tec tec tec for 2 months. Didn't pull it out of the bag or case the day we played had some rain. Next week tried to use it and it was beat. Moisture all inside. I don't even know where it is right now because i just flung it in the back of my trunk.. Very disappointed. Don't even bring it to the course if it's wet out. Worked good for the two weeks but can't handle the slightest water in the air. Doesn't even have to touch it.

I have a watch and a range finder . I like the watch for convenice, yet I use the RF for reading the greens visually . Slope left to right, front to back  . Reading bunkers and doglegs ... Cheers .

Like my garmin watch better...always showing yardage and less time to calculate distance...retrieve, aim, steady, steady, shoot, etc. etc. vs. quick look. I would think that most golfers (non-pros) only need yardage to the green...and not the pin...although the garmin shows three distances (front center back). The average hits the green only 50% of the time from 150 yards (perhaps less). good review Mr SG...keep 'em coming

One of the cheap rangedinfers give you yards as soon as you click so it costantly changes and s east to find the flag. Quite a few caddies I work with use it. Can't remember which one but it's very good.

Do golfers change scopes that much? I have one but wouldn't give a hoot about another. It gives me yardage. End of story. But thats just me.

The level of specialists L1 Technologies is very low, it is not clear how bushnell golf(GPS devices EXEL, ION2, Phantom GPS, App), motocaddy(GPS App, GPS Trolley and GPS Sensor Trolley 2020), TecTecTec (UlTG), Powakaddy (GPS devices and App) and the Yamaha(Yamatrack, YTX, GPS Devices for control Golfcart AC and Gas versions) were order development of devices and mobile applications from them. Developers are engaged in theft and copying of branded electrical and GPS devices while presenting the development as their own. Also, the main boss turns out to be violates for women as evidenced by several lawsuits from women against him in the USA! I will not advise this disgusting company.
They periodically open a new company, probably to make a rebranding, since there are no orders at all, the last company was opened under the name Pixels Matter LLC, which is essentially the same as L1 Technologies.

The Vpro 500 is garbage, a waste of money. If you need a reliable range finder don't waste your money

The TecTecTec is not durable. Mine stopped working correctly after 2 months and only 12 rounds. It’s a cheap piece of Chinese made garbage. Don’t waste your time and money on it.
