Scientists in Argentina have found that electromagnetic radiation from a laptop computer can damage sperm. A study published in the journal Fertility and Sterility said that 29 healthy sperm samples were placed under a Wi-fi connected laptop for four hours. A quarter of the sperm showed reduced motility compared to 14 percent in the control samples. Nine percent of the sperm also showed DNA damage.

How do they know it was the wifi that caused it, and not the heat? They should have had both a non-wifi-connected laptop and a wifi-connected laptop over samples.

I agree! Strange that people doing research don't even use controls - it's not that hard to have two laptops to check what damage the heat does...

I think you read my comment too fast: to get the amount of damage the wifi does you need to know how much damage the HEAT does. Total damage minus heat damage = wifi damage.Their control sample is WRONG. It should be, as the person over said: PC without wifi.

Can friction cause the temperature to reach unhealthy levels too?
