Sukuna getting off screened by the one person he refused to acknowledge would be pure irony. He never saw Yuji as a threat and it would be perfect for him to take him out, after playing with his food for 30+ chapters

The idea that the train station is the afterlife for sukuna and yuji goes great with gojos being an airport I feel like. Gojo has felt like the most free man in all of jjk, and yuji and sukuna(maybe) have felt like the most locked, the airport is often massive and the idea of a planes and those massive glass walls looking outside, it really gives the feeling of freedom and new choices, while a train station feels more locked, it feels very industrial and is often remembered for being crowded. Hell, even the train is stuck on its own path. All I’m saying is gojo and yuji are like a plane and a train

I don't think Yuji died. Rather Sukuna is dying because he's being absorbed into Yuji kinda like how the Death Paintings were. We've seen that Yuji can make Sukuna cough out the fingers via Dismantle, and the flashback to Gojo explaining the buff and sure-hit effects of a Domain Expansion meant that Yuji's dismantles are sure-hit attacks (meaning Yuji instantly wins.) The buff effect of the DE means Yuji is now strong enough to breakdown Sukuna's fingers into pure CE like how Yuji did with the death paintings.

Because Sukuna resembles Yuji, it means that he's in Yuji's body instead of Megumi's.

I’m still in denial. Yuji is the ultimate protagonist and I’ve always been a firm believer that killing off your strongest character especially at the end of the Manga is one of the most infuriating things ever 😭😭

Honestly it seems that Yuji opened his domain. Literally cut sukuna out of megumi. Megumi threw up sukuna and then Yuji ate him in order to digest him. Now being strong enough to digest sukuna full power adding it to his own. Like he did to the death paintings.

The one thing i dont like about this theory is the fact that sukuna was surprised in the train station, just like how we were when we saw that they were in the train station

If sukuna got trapped in itadoris body again then got exorscized by megumi i dont think hed have the same reaction

Having Megumi kill one of his closest friends after finally getting the courage to fight and the will to live again is gonna be INSANELY tough so it's definitely gonna be Yuta. I can't see Megumi being tasked with killing Yuji and not attempting to end it all on the spot immediately after.

This whole situation all around sucks tho. Even after Sukunas defeat this story is gonna end in the most tragic and least feel good way imaginable outside of a possible scenario where Sukuna wins. The balance of the world is messed up, tons of people died and are stuck with lifelong trauma, tons of young sorcerers with bright futures fied, the sorcerers are all stuck with immense trauma and scars, some lost their lives etc. I can't help but feel like when this story ends I'm not gonna walk away from it feeling good even if Sukuna is gone lol

The narrator at the end of the chapter mentions and 'Uncharted domain' Now unless there is a translation mistake, or the word uncharted means something else, I think it is Yujis domain.
