The secret to early flowering dahlias

If you’ve already received your tubers, or you’re unpacking overwintered dahlias from last season, here’s a short refresher on potting them up from Sarah and Jemima using our exclusive Dahlia ‘Rosie Raven’ as a demo.

Planting dahlias undercover in pots now will give them a 6-8 week head start on those planted directly in the ground, after the frosts.

I ordered some plants from Sarah Raven on line. The wrong ones were sent. The correct ones arrived were posted. 1 was in ok condition. 1 pretty poor. 1 appalling condition. Do not order plants from SR on line.
