Let's Talk Nomos! The 2022 Nomos Tangente Neomatik.

Nomos has sent me the NEW 2022 Tangente Neomatik in to REVIEW on le channel! Fair warning: I really like Nomos! I know it's not a brand for everyone, but I really enjoy it. It's a watch company that just makes me happy. One of two German watch brands that have won a GPHG award (the other being A Lange and Sohne) ; Nomos delivers us quality watches at a reasonable pricepoint.

Since '05 they have used only in house calibres, and their designs are just so dang german! Heavily inspired by the Bauhaus movement, their watches are clean, minimal, and I think they have a very youthful feel to them. In the stuff world of Swiss watches taking themselves soooo seriously, Nomos kinda stands out! This standing out isn't for everyone - but it definitely is for me!

I'd describe this watch as a modern interpretation of a dress watch. I think it's kinda a sporty looking dress watch.

I have been really won over by this watch! Of course it has its negatives as well: long lugs that causes it to wear larger, small power reserve at 43 hours, and only 30m water resistance (although, it's not a dive watch! it's a dress watch, so I think this is forgivable). On the whole: It's a lot of watch for £2,500!

This watch is the embodiment of "Simple things can be gorgeous". It just is sooo.. Classy, but minimalist at the same time. This is what all those " minimalist affordable luxury watch" brands should strive to be.. If you know what I mean lol 🤣

Love me some Nomos, but If I had the cash, then a Metro or Lambda would be my choice over the Tangente. The black strap doesn't work for me with that colour dial, but pops! on the white face. Great to see some other brands getting some time on your channel, more of this please! :)

Love nomos, they are trend setters and I don’t understand why they don’t get more credit for being the first to release a light blue dial. They also were the first to do a coral red

Have you tried the 33mm Tangente? Perhaps that would change how the lugs appear to you.
I've had the 35mm alpha almost 5 years now and can't see myself parting with it. If I cop a 2nd Nomos I'm leaning towards the Metro.

Nomos is a very socially smart brand. The aesthetic is all. The craftsmanship is first class. They are independent too. The prices will double when they are eventually (and they will be sadly) bought out. Buy one now.

I’m just about to pickup a Tangente 35mm in midnight blue. I have the 38.5 mm club datum. Their leather straps are the best, and yes over time they become butter soft. Nice review!

Tangente - like you say it, but the "G" is not like in "gentle", but like in "green". How Monocrome Watches pronounced it is completely wrong.
