In the final 80s, Gary Moore was one of the main guitar heros. So, his opinion was relevant for press and teens...he was constantly asked about this topic: "Who' s the best guitar player?" He talked about Jake E Lee as his favorite one...of that age, because he recognized in an interview:"Ritchie Blackmore is the perfect guitar player"

Oh man - I’ve been listening to this since the album came out in 1978. I only imagined how Ritchie played this. I saw him 1st row in 1979 or so. He destroyed his Strat playing then he literally destroyed his Strat on stage. It was crazy. You destroyed this solo. The best ever I’ve seen on YouTube. Thanks for showing me these licks.
