HA-LCARS author here. Again, thanks for the shout out to the theme, and being able to say nice things about it even though it's not your cup of Earl Grey! To answer your question about right- or left-oriented bars, as far as I know, there's no lore or programmatic reason for one or the other. Just the way the user set it up.

The Unreal Engine dashboard was incredible!
It actually made me realize that, when AR glasses are the norm, we'll just be pointing at devices in a room to interact with them 🙂

I'm new to HA, just started with it a few days ago. My house has a few smart plugs, a bunch of bulbs and each room has a Google Home device. This video has absolutely BLOWN MY MIND!!!!

I'm guessing the "moving carpet fibres" is the sun being realistically simulated for sky position and the moving shadows make the carpet look like it's moving. Which is even cooler!

Those are all so cool! i wish i could find a tutorial to make the hex menus like Ables. He didnt by chance give you any explanation on how he pulled that off??? love this series keep up the great work!!

@EverythingSmartHome, any idea how the graphs in Joey's dashboard fill up the whole cards? Looks a lot better than the default mini-graph-card I feel.
