I’m not a nurse, don’t know anything about nursing, and yet I found this very entertaining😂

I love how nursing has gotten a higher status through social media and youtube, it is such an important profession and they deserve more recognition!

I have mad respect for nurses, doctors, anyone in the medical field of any sort. Especially during this pandemic, thank you all for your contribution.

My nursing friends had a “safe word” during clinicals for adults one. Def more random than “catheter”....ours was AVOCADO! and YES, there were times one of us stuck our heads outside our patients room and yelled 😂🥝

**whispers nervously**
*"Catheter. Caspar, catheter."*

After a week stay in the hospital I decided I wanted to try to get a job there. Less than a year later I got the job as a patient transporter working the overnight shift. I loved it and a year after working there I decided I wanted to back to school to get a nursing degree. I was never good in school but this time I really put my all in and I just got accepted to the nursing program with a 4.0!! So excited but nervous also. Class starts fall 2021 I hope I do well!

As a Nurse of 37 years I love you new young fresh faces. Please learn everything I have to teach you so you can take over and be brilliant. I’m looking forward to actually sitting down to a meal and not wonder “is that my patient ringing the call bell?” I can finally rest and not be awaken on my day off by the Charge Nurse looking for overtime😩. Bless you as you journey into this truly amazing profession.

What saved me was working as a CNA through nursing school, I absolutely recommend it! I felt pretty comfortable by the time I became an RN.

“Not CasPER...CasPAR. End it with an R...as in Rn.”

But the real joke is that Caspar is invisible. 😂
