That bee is never going to make it home.

I like it when you let the music cut off for a little bit and let the sounds of being outside in the garden on a beautiful day be heard. Very relaxing.

0:28 Opium poppies do not produce heroin. But they do indeed make morphine. People in laboratories extract opium from the poppy. Then they extract morphine from opium. Then they produce heroin using the morphine.

Those colors are gorgeous. I’ve always had an interest in toxic plants and drugs but too terrified to actually own any😅 would love to know the mechanics of how they work.

Poppies need light to germinate, in my experience growing poppies they seem to grow well in the indirect light of a crevice and free from damage to there tap roots by other plants and once they are established respond well to feeding up, it seems like you have to imitate the conditions of poor soil but give them the benefit of great soil for best results, great video 😀thanks.

I grow them solely for their aesthetic value, honestly I will put my hand on the book of the iron age war god and swear it..combining them with hot water and ammonia has never ever crossed my mind at all not even once

I BET that bumble bee is having himself a fantastic time in that flower. Looks like he might just move in as long as it's there and I don't blame him!!!!😁🤗

Poppy flowers only last a couple of days but are so beautiful, bees go into ecstasy rolling around on their backs as they gather the pollen going round and round… my poppy’s are a metre high with multiple heads and range of colours from pink to cherry red…

Awesome pretty plants. When do they usually bloom and when do they form fruits/bulbs?

Best up close video of the plant as it sprouts to maturity. I started more than 100 seeds in May under a translucent tote until June and it now looks like a bush after growing all summer. Sadly, Not 1 flower bloomed ? 🤔😮‍💨

I love this vid for several reasons, first & foremost the info. It would take someone like me months & yrs to learn everything taught here. It's also got something for visual learners, & im one of those(in part). Am using your vid to find a similar leaf to ones on some "poppies" i planted, but didn't see one. After searching hundreds of images online & coming to YT to find answers- your vid was the first i clicked on. And think I found a match at the very absolute end, but not positive. That's bc i cannot be positive it's part of a poppy. Would you be kind enough to tell me, what kind of plant left of the very last pop you show is? The pink poppy, on the left is a red flowered plant w/small almost sagging buds. That ones got a similar leaf structure- & this is me doing research to see what im growing hahaha😂
Any other tips on identifying them is welcomed. Thank you, & please mind the run-on sentences & long questions
