I wish you had gone into more detail about the different time signatures, the measure of 5 at the beginning of the verses took me a while to figure out, otherwise excellent teaching!

The C chord in the song is a C Major which is the standard C chord with the addition of the low E (6th string) played at the 3rd fret. This is how Roger plays it live and on the original Wall recording.

Another great lesson. Pink Floyd is my favorite group. I have not been playing guitar for long but have played piano for many years.I would just like to comment on the time signature, mother starts of in 5/8 time for 1 measure then changes to 8/8 time and then changes several more times after that as do most of their songs.In mother they use 5/8   8/8  6/8  12/8  and 9/8 time signatures. So if people are having problems with the beat, like you said the best way to get it right is to play along to the album.Thanks again
