Holy cow. This solves the eternal issue with seesaws. You're at the top, other kid gets off, and you just drop. The springs slow that down! Genius!

VERY NICE VIDEO ! I love that you don't talk much, you show exactly what you are doing and how to do it. Someone else mentioned that you turn down the microphone when your grinding and welding. That is a HUGE HELP ! Thank you for that. Most people don't understand how much noise is involved in welding, grinding and other manufacturing processes.
You get double points for using old scrap metal for your build. You are a smart man and your skills are very good !

My step father worked in an auto salvage yard in the 60's and used 4 springs, 2 hubs w/drums, a 14 foot 2x8, some nuts, bolts, concrete mix and a little welding and came up with something similar but only better. Not only did ours teeter up and down, the hubs and drums allowed it to spin in circles either way. Hours and hours of summer fun.
