I am sorry to say I like my old Stampin Up watercolor pencils so much better than the new ones. The old ones went down like artist grade pencils, nice and smooth even on watercolor paper too. It seems the old pencils were more heavily pigmented and the colors seemed much more vibrant. There is a definate difference between the old and new pencils. Also my old set came in a set of 24 colors in a tin. I wish Stampin Up wouldn't have changed the watercolor pencils. The change hasn't been for the better. I understand the color changes, not the quality change. Thanks for sharing this with us. Blessings.
