This one was extra spectacular. Teddy Roosevelt was a no-nonsense, take charge leader, just what we need today. He's so gentle and kind with his horse ❤

If you are on Long Island, or chance by, his home is open for tours. In Oyster Bay, it is called Sagamore Hill, and it gives great insight into the man. He passed away in his bedroom in that house just a gew months after his son was killed in WW1.

Amazing person. Not just for his strength and badassery, but for his compassion, empathy, and intelligence. Good looking horse, too.

I visited Sagamore in the mid-1970's. Beautiful home. A place a man could live in. I hated to leave.

Love this. Gorgeous horse, looks like a war horse; and magical film restoration.

Any who knows how to care properly for a horse is a person of good character.

He's so tender and loving with his horse. 🧡. He makes me feel like I would love if he was my uncle and we could go fishing.

An incredible individual for sure and the love he shows for his horse shows the deep and loving character of the man himself.

Despite the terrible losses he suffered, he "soldiered" on to become one of our greatest presidents, even winning a Nobel Peace Prize. He took on the big Fat Cats in the Banking & Railroad Industry. How I wish we could have someone with his passion for overall life. And, gentle with Animals. The Horse itself has literally helped to shape and build our planet in many places, crucial for transportation and farming are just a couple of things. And of course, our Great National Park system. Think in todays world, he would be appalled at something such as the Deforestation of the Amazon Rain forest, a truly great man.
