ONTV News: Orion Township Phragmites Ordinance

On August 3, 2015, the Orion Township Board of Trustees passed Ordinance 151 to deal with the growing problem of phragmites, an invasive plant species that is quickly growing out of control and choking out native plants, and blocking waterways and even roadways. At times, they're even considered a fire hazard. But there's an effective and fairly inexpensive treatment.
