I've seen a walk-around video of a Kamaz truck hit by one of these warheads. Those tungsten balls had shredded the wheels, the suspension, the cargo body, the cab, the dashboard and destroyed the frikkin' engine block. Imagining what they do to the unprotected human body is nightmare fuel. They probably had to collect those bodies with a shovel and bucket.

That last GMLRS hit. Was possibly the BEST, tactically I have ever seen. Angle, burst height, warhead type. Just WOW. The first one was just as accurate.
In 1984, I was in Basic at Ft. Sill OK. 13B Cannon Crewman. I saw some of the first MLRS systems and trainees. I talked to a few of them one day during some slave labor detail... and wanted to switch from M109A2 155MM Howitzers to the M270 MLRS. I saw the future here, in 1984. I had very high scores on my ASVAB (Army entrance exam) and could qualify, but my Drill Sgt. Screamed at me for an hour straight, so I didnt... LOL!

Scary accurate to be able to do that. Anyone on the firing line at the target range would have died instantly. And anyone in those buildings also had a really bad day.
