Visionary Mirjana in a Radio Maria interview was asked: What will happen after the two warnings and the sign?
The Blessed Virgin revealed to Mirjana (one of the six visionaries of Medjugorje) that the divine chastisement will come very soon.
Before it arrives, however, there will be two warnings, both of the events visible on earth, of the signs that will be at the same time an invitation to conversion and an irrefutable demonstration of the veracity of the apparitions in Medjugorje.
Our Lady also entrusted the task of communicating the above secrets to a priest of her choice, three days before the first warning.
Mirjana explained that the eighth and ninth secret are two serious events, they are punishment for the world that God will allow to make sinners repent.
The visionary explains that already the seventh secret was a punishment but that thanks to prayers and penance it was diminished, therefore, she invites as many people as possible to convert and open their hearts to God in such a way as to mitigate the suffering that the two secrets will bring to earth.
For this reason Our Lady continues to send messages inviting the faithful to prayer and penance and the non-believers to conversion.
In one of the apparitions, the Blessed Virgin told Mirjana that the faithful have lost knowledge of the power of prayer, and that this is the time to recover it:
“After the first warning, the others will follow within a short time.
Men will thus have time to convert.
This time is the period of grace and conversion.
For this, Our Lady calls for urgent conversion and reconciliation,” the visionary said in this regard.
After Our Lady predicted these chastisements, Mirjana received Satan's visit, the devil presented himself with the appearance of the Heavenly Mother, but soon he revealed himself for what he was and began to tempt her offering her a life of happiness and luxury, and telling her that following Our Lady she would have suffered and lived in poverty.
The visionary refused to follow the path of sin and the next instant appeared the true Madonna who confessed to her:
“Excuse me for that, but you must know that Satan exists; one day he presented himself before the throne of God and asked permission to tempt the Church for a certain period.
God allowed him to put her to the test for a century.
This century is under the power of the devil, but when the secrets entrusted to you are made, his power will be destroyed.
Already now he begins to lose his power and has become aggressive: he destroys marriages, raises discord between priests, creates obsessions, and assassinations.
You must protect yours with prayer and fasting; especially with community prayer.
Bring blessed articles with you.
Put them in your homes, resume the use of holy water.”
According to this second revelation, the current period of crisis in faith is due to the power that God has granted Satan to tempt human beings and that this period of time is coming to an end by bringing with it the punishes that God will inflict on those who have been diverted from the divine path.
Visionary Mirjana is now married, with two daughters.
The first visionary to receive the tenth and last secret, Mirjana will also have a key role when the time of the secrets draws close.
Since the mid-1980s she has repeatedly said that, for each of the secrets, she will alert the Franciscan priest Father Petar Ljubicic ten days in advance.
Along with the priest she will then pray and fast on bread and water for a week before Father Petar announces each secret to the world three days in advance.
