Viktor Orbán on why he blocked EU aid package for Ukraine

Hungary’s prime minister, Viktor Orbán, has blocked a €50bn EU aid package for Ukraine, hours after leaders side-stepped his opposition to agree to open talks with Kyiv on joining the bloc. A crunch summit in Brussels broke up at close to 3am on Friday with the Hungarian leader refusing to green light funding to help Ukraine’s government over the next four years. EU leaders will postpone their discussion on the budget to January, concluding that after seven hours of wrangling they were not going to get the Hungarian leader’s support.

So when he says its Hungary's money, he dosent mean what Hungary pays, it's what Hungary would get if the money didn't go to Ukraine.

To join the EU:" Membership requires that candidate country has achieved stability of institutions guaranteeing democracy, the rule of law, human rights, respect for and protection of minorities, the existence of a functioning market economy as well as the capacity to cope with competitive pressure and market forces within the Union." Does Ukraine have any of this? There are a lot of countrys who want to join and working on every point for 10 year to join the EU. Is it fair to the other countrys?

B. Putin has just stated that there will be no ceasefire until Russia has “achieved its objectives”. In other words until Ukraine ceases to exist.
C. If Ukraine falls, Russia will have a border with Hungary and they can rejoin the new Warsaw pact.

Anyone who blocks the supply of "aid" to a country that is being destroyed by a neighboring country has something invested with the aggressor. Hungary has absolutely no reason to refuse aid to Ukraine other than a lack of humanity and a desire to appease the aggressor.

Great man is Victor Orban, speaks the truth, and is no EU sycophant.

There's some people who ask about neighbours and protecting their borders, So why not Russia when they see an adversary(NATO) attempting to encroach into the vicinity of Russian borders. The USA wouldn't like it if Russia set up military bases on the Mexican borders or Canadian borders. To anyone that takes the time to research the reasons why Russia took the actions they did and why the invasion could have been avoided, but the west(USA) wasn't interested for their own agenda.
