Car journalist Anton Willemse drove a sturdy 4x4 equipped with Nokian Rockproof off-road tires for 18 kilometers on Baboons Pass, the road titled as one of the most dangerous in Southern Africa.

Baboons Pass is 26 kilometers of rocks and potholes. Located in the mountains of Lesotho, the road climbs up from an altitude of 1200 m to 2689 m.

Completing the drive in the tough terrain took Anton 27 hours, and he described it as once of a lifetime experience. However, when it comes to the tires, they stayed true to their name - the Nokian Rockproofs were as good as new in the end.
