How to make and bake The Simpsons donuts! I do love doughnuts! These are a fun and easy play on The Simpsons style donuts!

If you’ve never tried cake doughnuts before you need to try these! 🤤
They’re super easy to make, there’s no yeast and no frying involved, which means less mess and less washing up 🥳👌
They’re more cakey than bread-y, and they’re super soft and moist! I just love how the icing soaks into the dough to make them super sweet in every bite 😋
Sound on for full instructions 🔉
All you need is👇
For the Doughnuts:
60ml Milk (any)
50g Greek or Natural yoghurt (I used 0% fat Greek yoghurt)
1 Large egg
30g Unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp Vanilla extract
120g Plain flour
70g Granulated sugar
1/4 tsp Bicarbonate of soda
1 tsp Baking powder
For the icing:
150g Icing sugar
2 tbsp Milk (any)
1 tsp vanilla
Pink food colouring
Sprinkles
(You could also add strawberry flavouring 🍓)
Makes 6 small doughnuts 🍩
Bake 160C (fan) 10-12 mins or until they’re lightly golden on top and a toothpick comes out clean
