Arizona Nationals Elimination Highlights

Top Fuel’s Shawn Langdon won for a second straight year at Firebird Motorsports Park on Sunday, powering past Kalitta Motorsports teammate Doug Kalitta in the final round in front of a sellout crowd at the 40th annual NHRA Arizona Nationals.

Paul Lee (Funny Car) and Greg Anderson (Pro Stock) also won the second of 20 races during the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season. It was the second straight sellout this weekend in Phoenix, as fans packed Firebird Motorsports Park.

Great racing but it appears not many fans are there. Looks like nhra is suffering like nascar with it's fan base slowly dwindling.

Went there in 1993 and several times since then. Its a good track, but they really need to add another Jumbotron or two.

So what’s the deal with this track? Wasn’t it history “for sure” last time? Did the indians decide it was more valuable to keep it open?
