All 177's need their wing spar carry through inspected. We passed the test! Now, once again we've fallen in to the "might as well" part of the project. Here is an update to what we are doing.

A beautiful plane; I love the color scheme. With all the new plastic and sound deadening it’s going to smell like a brand new plane!

I love the Cardinal - I was a 1/3 owner in a 1968 in the mid 80's N30248. I would love to find another one someday for all the reasons you mentioned. Thanks for the video!!

Always enjoy your projects/updates. I have several hours in a 177, back when they were new. Always felt they were one of easiest to land Cessnas.

Thanks for the update. Much $$$$ lol. Worth it though !! If it only had the 230hp of the 182 Skylane. 😉 Looking forward to seeing you in the air soon.

Nice. One of the most beautiful single engine Cessna's ever designed. I know where a all original 68 model 177 is with less than 1000 original hours on A&E.

I remember when those first came out. My Dad when out and got checked out in one and was warned about using full flaps at certain speeds! So the first thing we did was went to full flaps and went to the speed restriction. Both doors popped open and they will not close as the fuselage moves so much. We landed holding the doors and the owner of the FBO saw us and said You just had to try it didn't you? then he said he did the same thing and laughed!

Great job on the video. Very similar to my ‘73 with all the improvements. N34739 is mine and can be seen on Cardinal Flyers!

I didn’t see the panel. Surely that needs an all glass upgrade 😅

My Cardinals N number is 34346. It is the first FG for 1973. I assume yours would the third FG for 1973.
