Project CARS with PSVR on PC with head tracking

Steps for setup

1- download and install Trinus PSVR
2- download and install Steam VR (search in the "tools" category to locate)
3- disconnect the USB and HDMI from the PS4 (I also disconnect the HDMI from the breakout box going to the TV. Because it will give you another screen to deal with on your PC).
4- Connect the USB and HDMI leads to your PC.
5- Position the PSVR on a solid level table or even on the floor if need be in the direction you will be playing.
6- Start Trinus PSVR. DO NOT TOUCH PSVR FOR ABOUT 10 Seconds, it is calibrating sensors.
7- Start Steam Vr, nothing will look right until the Steam Vr is running. I also set my Steam Vr for Standing room only.
8- Start Project Cars in VR mode
9- If you get a little ill give it a break don't try and push through it. You just be sick longer.
10- HAVE FUN!!!

I tried it as well. Really cool. I have an Oculus DK2 as well and the difference is big. I have tried the HTC as well, and I would say there isnt much of a difference. Of course room headtracking isnt working . Lets see what the next TrinusVR will give us. Hope the get it to work on the Oculus as well.

Hey, Thanks for the great video and description...helped me out a lot.
I see from the description, that your framerate is 60 hz. Is it possible to set the framerate higher than that?
I guess not, because of HDMI restriction.

Hey man, just wanted to ask you a few questions, as I'm a sim racer who's contemplating getting the PSVR, because it plays on both GT Sport and PC.

1- Is the motion of the tracking slow, or is it near 1:1?
2- Can you do it in Forza Horizon 3, by any chance? I don't mean VR necessarily, but like just playing the screen infront of you so you're like seeing things in cinematic mode(ish)?
3- Would you recommend the PSVR over the Rift and Vive? I understand they probably have higher res, but is the compatibility of the PSVR good enough for you use it for both PS4 and PC?

Thank you first of all for the video, because i am trying to find out if it is worth it, to buy psvr for use with my pc. So i would like to ask you, if the picture and graphics from pc is more clear, than the blurry graphics of ps4 ( at least in my opinion were blurry when i tried psvr at a store), and did you test it for watching 3d sbs video with good quality, not from youtube? Finally, would you recommend to someone, to buy one for pc use?

You had the PSVR headset set to 60HZ in display settings? I've been trying to run it at 120 Hz with a 1070 with major OC and i7-2600k @ 4.5 and even with everything on low it runs like crap. Looks like you have it running real well, can you provide the settings you used? I guess I can try setting the HMD and in game to 60 HZ. Thanks!

Have you tried dirt rally pc with this headset? I haven't been able to find anything but I did see your comment that it doesn't work with AC.

how did you get the image on your psvr to centered in the right position? - I have it working but I see a lot more of one image than the other and it hurts my eyes. (It's not IPD settings btw)

does this show the game in 3d as it does on ps4 games or is it a flat image? I'm very tempted to get a PSVR after trying one today but I'll prob use it to play pcars with my friends on pc mostly.
