1: The secret to saving at Costco is walking in with a list and sticking with it. Bring whatever amount of cash you need to pay for your purchase and your memmebr ship card only. Leave your debit and credit cards at home. I stick with the same items and shop every two weeks. For example if I see butter is on sale, I will buy extra and freeze it. Just take it out as we need it. Me and my family love to eat fruit but fresh fruit is so expensive. So I have been buying more frozen fruit. It last longer and all you have to do is defrost it in the fridge.
2: My cousin just listed her house for sale because the homeowners insurance and the taxes on it tripled. Her comfortable 3% mortgage is now making her almost house poor.
