The Airbus A3 50: A New Standard in Aviation
Airbus Just Revealed A350 HUGE Upgrade that Terrified Boeing!
The Airbus A3 50 has been a flagship for Airbus’s success in the wide-body, long-haul market since it first took to the skies. With its sleek design, advanced aerodynamics, and fuel-efficient engines, the A3 50 is one of the most efficient aircraft in the skies today. At the heart of this success is the Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engine, a powerhouse of innovation and efficiency. Originally developed specifically for the A3 50, the Trent XWB has redefined what’s possible in commercial aviation, offering exceptional fuel efficiency, high thrust, and reliability. Now, with Airbus’s latest update, we’re witnessing a new chapter for this aircraft and its powerful Trent XWB engines.

The Upgraded Trent XWB-84: Efficiency Meets Performance
So, what exactly makes the Trent XWB-84 stand out?
This engine packs a massive 84,000 pounds of thrust, propelling the A3 50-900 and setting new benchmarks for large-engine performance since its debut in 20 15. Known for its reliability and durability, the XWB-84 is now getting an upgrade that will make it even more efficient.
Specifically, the engine will see an additional 1% improvement in fuel and Carbon dioxide efficiency. Now, 1% might not sound like much, but in the aviation industry, that’s a game-changer!

Well if Ethel can double the time on wing for the XWB-97 then I can see Emirates swapping a load of Boeing orders for the 350-1000 Neo

How do you know that Boeing is terrified? Based on what do you claim this?

It's a no brainer why would you not prefer a greener more efficient engine?

What about safety, seems. Profits are the cornerstone of choices made to keep profiteering.
No thanks, I can see a future of issues for passengers.

The Trent engines have poor on wing time when compared to GE engines.

The RR Triple spool engines are also more expensive to build and also more expensive to maintain than twin spool engines.

That is one of the reasons why RR are dropping the triple spool architecture in favor of the twin spool architecture as seen in th e so-called twin spool ultrafan which is just another geared fan engine.

Well, at least AIRBUS just revealed A350 huge upgrade right away. Better Garuda Indonesia ordering more longest haul flight route in nonstop including AIRBUS A330 & A350 and BOEING 777 & 787 for the future if it is can for longest haul flight route in nonstop as Garuda Indonesia still have BOEING 737 for the short International route and Domestic route and it's subsidiary Citilink and Pelita Air currently have AIRBUS A320 and ATR 72 then for the future A220 and A321 that will use it later.
