Goa Board Answers Questions on ATKT | Supplementary | Reverification | Passing Certificate

The results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination 2023 declared by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) on Saturday with 96.64 per cent students clearing it.

The above pass percentage is 3.89 per cent higher than the previous record of 92.75 per cent registered in 2022.

In all 19,958 students –10,071 boys and 9,887 girls - appeared for the SSC examination. 96.92 per cent girls passed while 96.37 per cent boys cleared the examination.

A total of 187 schools secured 100 per cent results which includes 49 government schools.

Goa Board chairman Bhagirath G Shetye said, “The SSC examination of April 2023 was conducted in two-terminal examination system. The first term was totally based on multiple choice questions and the second term was on subjective type questions. The final results were prepared based on the performance of the first term, second term and the internal assessment.”

He said that 425 specially-abled students appeared for the exam from 104 schools including four special schools for special children of which 418 students cleared the exam, thus registering a passing percentage of 98.35 per cent.

Shetye said that National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF), a Government of India scheme in which a total of 3,863 students appeared for the exam, 3781 cleared the same while 138 students passed by benefitting from the scheme.

He said that 7,151 students availed the facility of sports merit marks, in which 197 students passed with the help of these marks.

Among all talukas in the State, Pernem registered the highest pass percentage 98.84 per cent while Mormugao recorded the lowest pass percentage of 95.16 per cent.

A total of 428 candidates have been placed in ATKT (Allowed To Keep Terms) category.

“The supplementary examination will be conducted by the Board for the candidates who need improvement in more than two subjects. In ATKT category the students need improvement in one or two subjects or candidates who have withdrawn their examination forms. Candidates, who have secured overall ‘H’ or ‘I’ Grade in the subject, have to clear that subject in the forthcoming board examination,” Shetye said.

Hii sir I've got atkt at maths subject so wht shall I do like I have to prepare for that 40 40 Mks which is mcq as well as subjective of 2nd term wht to do sir please guide...🙏 and sir as well as the same question paper will come or different... please reply sir...🙏😞
