I don't particularly see this guy as country music, that being said I just discovered him tonight from his cover of god's country. I think he is a breath of fresh air in the alternative catagory. I don't mean any disrespect in saying that I don't think he sings country music because I am a fan of what he is doing and he is one of the few people I have discovered lately that I enjoy that doesn't fall under the country music description. He doesn't need to do country music. Whatever he is doing (some kind of mixed together sub genre) he is doing very well, and I appreciate his style.
