About us,

We are a family from the North-East of England following our dream to restore a beautiful abandoned french Château. We discovered the heart stopping Château De Lalacelle in summer of 2020, this beautiful architectural monument Is set in the countryside of North-West France.

The moment we visited the Château we all fell in love, from the beautiful sweeping landscape and forests, to its stunning untouched interiors and magnificent spiral staircase in the turret.

Unfortunately Château De Lalacelle has been abandoned for a number of decades so will need a lot of restoration and DIY.

Hi everyone, The garden is looking beautiful & the grassed areas, are looking more & more established ! It’s been a labour of love & still is at the moment, doing the finishing, but come next summer, it will look spectacular! I was thinking, the guys are doing a great job, repairing the cottage, dormers & also painting them ! But oh no, Tracy appears, with her paint brush!
Why wasn’t I surprised! 😊

I could almost hear Patrick saying “La, la, la, nothing to see here…” as he walked by with the egg. He had the same demeanor of my dogs when they have something they know they’re not supposed to. Loved it. He needs to bulk up on protein after all that hard digging. It’s amazing what a huge difference the small changes on the cottage are making. Compared to where you started, it looked great. Now it shines like a gem and looks like it belongs with the Château. Great job everyone! ❤
