Phase II Clone Trooper Helmets: $100 Black Series vs $1000 Master Replicas Limited Edition

Let's not forget, there was no "screen used" helmets for the phase 2 until OWK. So what MR had, were simply computer generated schematics, which if actually used for actors, wouldn't have worked real well. There now are screen used full suits so I would be interested to see how the black series compares to that. The one thing that really throws me off on the accuracy of the BS is that visor. It's the wrong shape, and it also does not have the detailing found around the "eyes."

yeah those small differences don't make it worth 10x the price. Hasbro actually did really well here.

Black series ALL DAY LONG!. Forget about those digital files. Hasbro is knocking those things out of the park. It’s not a case of well for the money, they look amazing regardless of the price. Great comparison man. Your room looks amazing as always

The visor part looks more like the clone wars version so in my opinion it is accurate not to the movies but the clone wars

I’m not super familiar, as I’m more of an OT fan, but I wonder how the black series differs from the first live action clone troopers in the OBK series and The Mandalorian? Overall, I do agree that the Black Series are just getting better and better for their price. Looking forward to your Black Series Scout Trooper comparison!

Informative video comparing the old master replicas clone trooper helmet and the new Hasbro helmet. I can't remember what year these came out but it was definitely over a decade and a half ago.

The Hasbro may be based on the live action version of the helmet instead of the cgi helmet the Master Replicas was based on.

I have the Denuo Novo version of the Phase 2, which looks closer to the MR version. I am excited about Hasbro doing the Ahsoka version of the Phase 2, which I will definitely pick up!

Kinda like the Hasbro better, my opinion, everyone has one. The groves side slots vs painted did it for me and my tv they are definitely bright white. But both great

The Black Series helmet looks kind of like a prototype Stormtrooper helmet because of the bright white colour, it makes sense for it to look like that while its being transformed into the Stormtrooper helmet. The Master Replicas helmet is definitely the accurate helmet though, but both of them look nice!
