Judge Sets Trial Date for Florida Woman Accused of Murdering Husband

On Thursday, Florida woman Laurie Shaver appeared in court for a quick pre-trial hearing, where a judge set a trial date for her murder case. Shaver is accused of murdering her missing husband, Michael Shaver, in 2015. His body was found in March 2018, under a fire pit at the couple's home. She was arrested in 2020 and claimed that her young daughter actually killed her husband to protect her mom.

✨Omg, I can't wait for this trial. So, her defense is "SODDI", and her 7 year old daughter was involved. Then, she left the house with the children, and her husband's dead body just so happened to end up buried in her backyard. But, she had no idea how it got there! LMAO 😂
